Walk by lantern light to hear soldiers, women and Native Americans talk about America's war for independence. Visit the family cemetery

Festifall, 10 am - 5 pm
Daily Re-enactment of "Bloody Bill" Cunningham's Raid at noon. Hourly demos, musket fire & drills, cavalry, music, authors and more

Kings Mountain National Military Park - Blacksburg, SC
Battle of Kings Mountain Anniversary, 10 am - 8 pm
Join Living History Interpreters for the 232nd anniversary encampment. Learn about the men and women who fought in the battle. A variety of events will be held throughout the day,
including musket and rifle demonstrations as well as children's militia drills. Encampments
close to the public at 5pm. Lantern tours of the battlefield will be held from 7 - 8pm. Living history interpreters will tell about the night after the battle using actual accounts from participants of the battle. Reservations are required, please call 864-936-7921 to make reservations.

Cowpens National Battlefield - Chesnee, SC
The Night Before Kings Mountain, 6:00pm - 8:00 pm
Cowpens National Battlefield, in conjunction with the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail, present a drama about the few days that preceded the Revolutionary War Battle of Kings Mountain on October 7, 1780.

Sunday, October 7th
Kings Mountain National Military Park - Blacksburg, SC
Battle of Kings Mountain Anniversary, 10 am - 5 pm
Join us as we honor those who fell in the Battle of Kings Mountain. Wreath laying ceremony at US Monument will be held at 11:00 am. Overmountain Victory Trail Marchers will arrive at 3:00 pm followed by keynote address. A variety of events will be held throughout the day,
including musket and rifle demonstrations as well as children's militia drills.
